Abstract

Starting with an algebraic, separable and normal extent sion E of a field K, Krull [2] has shown that the galois group G of EjK can be given a topology (Krull topology) such that there is a one-to-one galois correspondence between all intermediate fields and all closed subgroups of G.

R(x) belongs to L¹(R) and Ramanujan himself has calculated Its Fourier Transfonn and several definite integrals connected with R(x) in [I] and [2].
